The aim of this syllabus is to provide persons entering the field of haematopoietic progenitor cell processing with the basic concepts involved and a practical knowledge of the techniques currently in use. It also provides a refresher for those more experienced in this area. It covers laboratory processing steps, including quality control/assurance concerns, from a practical and technical of view.
