Jennifer Brandenburg is a professional engineer with over 30 years of experience in government transportation agencies and the private sector. She holds a civil engineering degree from North Carolina State University and has managed numerous transportation infrastructure projects. She is an adjunct faculty member in Construction Management at East Carolina University. Don Chen, PhD, LEED, has over 30 years of experience in the engineering field. He is a professor at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where he teaches Highway Design and Construction, Applied Analytics and Machine Learning, and Building Information Modeling (BIM). His research interests include pavement performance evaluation and pavement management, focusing on enhancing roadway network performance through local calibration, performance modeling, and deep learning.
