Ruqing Bai is currently an Assistant Professor at Chongqing University, China. He earned his bachelor's degree from Shaanxi University of Technology, China, his master's degree from Northwestern Polytechnical University, China, and his PhD from University of Technology of Compiegne, France. His research activities concern the computational fracture mechanics of isotropic and composite structures, including beams, plates, and shells. To date, he has authored 16 high-impact articles in SCI-indexed publications over the past five years, with 12 featuring him as the first or corresponding author.Hakim Naceur is Professor and the Head of Mechanical Engineering Department at INSA Hauts-de-France. He received his master's degree from University Paris 6, France, and his PhD from University of Technology of Compiegne, France. His research activities concern computational structural mechanics, including the development of advanced meshless techniques applied to multi-material shell structures for energy dissipation in shocks and impacts. To date, he has authored more than 90 papers in peer-reviewed journals and 150 international conference papers and book chapters dealing with computational mechanics.
