He has been the PI of research projects for monitoring the evolution of urban river channels and its hydro-geomorphological dynamics. He is currently the academic coordinator of the master's degree in Water Science and Integral Water Management (University of Barcelona), involving 8 faculties and up to 60 academics, and member of the Water Research Institute of Barcelona (IdRA).
