Olusola Olaitan Ayeleru obtained his BEng in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Technology (Nigeria) and MTech and PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Johannesburg (South Africa). His interests focus on advanced materials synthesis, municipal solid waste management, soft computing applications, fruit and vegetable research, water and wastewater treatment, energy management, biomass and renewable energy, self-healing polymers, and circular economy. He is a reviewer for The Future Leaders—African Independent Research Fellowships, for many high-impact international journals, and for award applications at the National Research Foundation of South Africa. Azeez Olayiwola Idris obtained his BSc in Industrial Chemistry from the Ekiti State University (Nigeria) and MSc and PhD from the University of Johannesburg (South Africa). He is the recipient of a Doctorate Student Award for his oral presentation at the 2017 South African Chemical Institute. He specializes in the synthesis, characterization, and application of smart nanomaterials for sensors, biosensors, photocatalysis, photoelectrochemical degradation, and water treatment. He is a member of the American Chemical Society, the South African Chemical Institute, and the South African Nanotechnology Initiative. Sadanand Pandey is a professor at Shoolini University’s School of Bioengineering and Food Technology (India). He holds an MSc in Biochemistry and a PhD in Polymer Chemistry from Indian universities. Post?PhD, he worked at the Indian Institute of Science (India), the University of Johannesburg (South Africa), and Yeungnam University (South Korea). Specializing in nanomaterials, water pollution control, and resource recovery, he focuses on bio-based wastewater treatment. He actively collaborates with global laboratories and has published approximately 250 articles, with citations approaching 10,000. He has been recognized among the top 2% of scientists worldwide from 2019 to 2023 by Stanford University. Peter Apata Olubambi obtained his BEng (Hons) and MEng in Metallurgical and Materials engineering from the Federal University of Technology (Nigeria) and a PhD in Metallurgy from the University of the Witwatersrand (South Africa). He is a professor of Materials Engineering and is presently the director of the Centre for Nanoengineering and Advanced Materials (CeNAM) and the head of the School of Mining, Metallurgy, and Chemical Engineering at the University of Johannesburg (South Africa). He is an NRF-rated researcher (C2), an editorial board member of international journals, a reviewer for high-impact journals, and an organizing committee member at local and international conferences.
