Dysphagia: A Clinical Guide will help practitioners and surgeons learn and understand how best to diagnose and treat dysphagia. It provides a complete picture of dysphagia through the experiences of leaders who cover the latest techniques and evidence-based outcomes in the field. Coverage includes recent advances in the diagnosis and treatment of the disease processes that cause dysphagia, gastric problems, and surgical intervention. The book includes the latest research and perspectives from both gastroenterologists and surgeons to enable clinicians to stay up-to-date on the most current and effective management strategies. Each chapter provides summary statements and recommendations based on recent literature.

Recent discoveries regarding the diagnosis and management of dysphagia are exemplified by illustrations of both diagnostic methods and descriptions of interventional techniques. This an important reference for general surgeons, general practitioners, and ENT surgeons while also bringing new data dedicated specifically to gastroenterologists and foregut surgeons.
