If you put the fossil relics of prehistoric creatures in relation to the recent species living today, you come to astonishing results. Many fossils, which are supposed to have been formed over millions of years by gradual processes of deposition and fossilisation, testify to the exact opposite! They are therefore actually completely impossible legacies of prehistory. And it is the intention of this work, to make the reader think about this. Sven Gehrmann, born in 1969, has always been interested in everything that lives in or near water. He now sees himself as a nature cryptographer who tries to interpret the language of nature. And fossils talk too! We just have to watch and listen to them properly. And then we come to amazing realisations and insights! But he has also found fossils himself in the strangest places, because he has developed a special eye for them.
