Dr. Pranay Pradeep Morajkar received his PhD from the University of Lille 1 in collaboration with the University of Bordeaux 1 (France) in 2012. He served as a CNRS Postdoctoral Research Associate at the LRGP-ENSIC—the University of Lorraine, France, and as Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the Khalifa University of Science and Technology, (U.A.E). Since 2014, he is an Assistant Professor at the School of Chemical Sciences, Goa University, India, wherein his research focuses on "Designing Nanostructured Materials for Energy and Environmental Applications." He has published a total of 42 international peer-reviewed research publications and has 01 Indian patent to his credit till date. He is the recipient of the Early Career Research Award by SERB, startup research grant from UGC, Indo-European S&T INNO-INDIGO research grant by DST, India, and Goa state research grant from DST & WM, Govt. of Goa, India. Dr. Morajkar has recently been elected as the Scientific Secretary of International Measurement Confederation (IMEKO-TC-20), Germany. Dr. Milind Naik received his PhD in Microbiology from Goa University in 2012. He has 9 years of teaching experience at Goa University and 1 year of experience as Scientist C on NIH-funded project “Malaria Evolution in South East Asia at the National Institute of Malaria Research, India. Dr. Naik also worked as a Scientist in Molbio Diagnostics Pvt. Ltd., Goa, on real time-PCR technology. He has edited two international books published by Elsevier and Springer. He has published over 30 research papers in reputed international journals and authored 6 book chapters. He is a recipient of SERB-DST Young Scientist Project Award and his research focuses on marine pollution and microbial remediation, quorum sensing in microorganisms and quorum quenching biomolecules, malaria, and nanobiotechnology.
