A comprehensive reference which fills the gap between theory and practice in mastering multiphase flows in the process industries: While discussing the background in multiphase flows, the book also covers the state-of-the-art of experimental and computational tools.

Vivek V. Ranade is Bernal Chair Professor of Process Engineering, University of Limerick, Ireland. His research group uses experiments, computational flow modelling, reactor engineering and machine learning to generate new insights in multiphase flows, multiphase reactors and process intensification. He has authored over 200 peer-reviewed publications and six books. Ranjeet P. Utikar is Associate Professor in Chemical Engineering at Curtin University in Australia. His research focuses on applying computational modeling techniques to understand, optimize and design energy efficient processes. He has authored over 80 peer-reviewed publications.
