Narms '98: Rock Mechanics, Earth Crust Mechanics

At the beginning of the 1990s, the Mexican Society of Rock Mechanics (SMMR), the Canadian Rock Mechanics Association and the U.S. National Committee on Rock Mechanics established the North American Rock Mechanics Symposium (NARMS). This symposium has been chartered as a Regional Conference for the International Society of Rock Mechanics (ISRM).NARMS has become an important and acclaimed international forum for the Rock Mechanics community bringing together technical societies, academic institutions, government, industry and construction sectors.
