Dr. Srijan Goswami is the Founder Director of the Indian School of Complementary Therapy & Allied Sciences, Kolkata, INDIA (Non-Government and Non-Profit Organization). Presently he is associated as the Guest Faculty of Immunology & Physiology at the Department of Zoology (PG Courses), Serampore College, INDIA. He was formerly associated as an Assistant professor at the Department of Biotechnology and Molecular Biology, Institute of Genetic Engineering, Badu, INDIA till July 2018 and as a Lecturer at the Department of Computer Science, Webel Informatics Limited, Basirhat College Unit INDIA till June 2016. Dr. Goswami is a Physician of Biochemic System of Medicine and also holds specialization in Medical Biotechnology and Clinical Nutrition. He received his professional training on Community Nutrition and Child Care, Medical Microbiology, and Medical Biochemistry from reputed medical colleges in Kolkata, INDIA and holds a PGDSE from Webel, INDIA. Dr. Goswami has around 7 years of experience in the field of teaching and research and has around 20 research papers in National and International journals. He has independently & successfully guided around 10 Undergraduate and Postgraduate students with their complete research work and publications in the past 3 years. He acted as an Examination Superintendent for National Digital Literacy Mission at Pravda Infotech Pvt. Ltd, (Basirhat) INDIA in 2016. He has qualified Ph.D. Entrance Examination conducted by the Department of Biotechnology, MAKAUT in 2018. Dr. Goswami has received three Letter of Commendation for Global Community Services and Certificate of Honor for his contribution in the field of Science and Knowledge form International Journal of Agricultural Research, Sustainability and Food Sufficiency (IJARSFS), International Journal of Advances in Medical Sciences and Biotechnology (IJAMSB), and International Journal of Health, Safety and Environment (IJHSE) in 2019 and 2020. The Current Research in Nutrition and Food Science (Enviro Research Group) and Academia Scholarly Journals have awarded him the Certificate of Excellence as Reviewer in 2020. He is actively associated as Editorial Review Board Member of 15 International journals and holds the post of Honorary Vice-Principal and Head of the Department of Physiology at Shree Krishna Biochemic College, Kolkata, INDIA. Currently, Dr. Goswami is pursuing his 2nd professional M.Sc. in Clinical Dietetics. His domain of expertise includes Molecular Biology, Medical-informatics, Clinical Nutrition, Immunonutrition, Mechanism of Drug Action, Nutraceuticals and Functional Foods, Holistic Science, and One Health. Dr. Chiranjeeb Dey passed M.Sc. in Zoology with specialization in Parasitology and Immunobiology from the University of Calcutta in 2001. He is recipient of national scholarship from CSIR-UGC, New Delhi in time of his doctoral thesis and awarded his Ph.D. degree in Zoology from the University of Calcutta in 2007 on the ultrastructure of an avian cestode tegument. Dr. Dey is recipient of Sudev Bhushan Ghosh Young Scientist award from the Zoological Society, Kolkata. He was a post-doctoral fellow in a CSIR project in the department of Biophysics, Bose Institute, Kolkata, India. He has joined as an Assistant Professor in Zoology, Serampore College (affiliated to the University of Calcutta) in 2008 and continuing the service till date. Dr. Dey has published more than 20 research papers in peer reviewed national and international journals and some are in pipeline. In addition, he has in his credit few textbooks for undergraduate students in Zoology under the University of Calcutta. His Ph.D. thesis has also been published from Scholars Press, Germany in 2013. Apart from his research career, he also engaged in teaching Zoology in undergraduate and post-graduate course since 2002. Dr. Dey acted as examiner/ evaluator and guest faculty in different undergraduate colleges and universities in India. His research and teaching experiences reaches more than 14 years. His field of research interest is parasitology especially on helminths - their physiology, biochemistry, tegument biology (ultrastructural level), and ecology with respect to their host. Dr. Dey had collaboration in his research with a good number of institutes viz. Zoological Survey of India, Kolkata; Rishi Bankim Chandra College, Naihati; Bose Institute, Kolkata; Department of Anatomy, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi; Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow; Protozoology Division, School of Tropical Medicine, Kolkata; National Institute of Cholera and Enteric Diseases, Kolkata; USIC, Jadavpur University, Kolkata; Drug Research and Development Centre, Dum Dum, Kolkata; Department of Zoology, University of Calcutta, Kolkata; S. N. Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences, Salt Lake, Kolkata; and West Bengal University of Animal & Fishery Sciences, Kolkata. He has acted as regular reviewer in few international journals notably Journal Experimental Parasitology, Journal of Parasitic Diseases etc. Dr. Dey has been supervising post-graduate students’ project/ dissertation works in the elective paper Parasitology and Immunobiology of the post-graduate course in Zoology in the Serampore College (affiliated to the University of Calcutta), Sikkim Manipal University and Netaji Subhas Open University. Also Dr. Dey supervising a few students in their Ph.D. work (one of them is the JRF under DST, Govt. of WB, India MRP). He is life member in the Zoological Society, Kolkata, Social Environmental and Biological Association (SEBA), and member in Academy of Biodiversity Conservation (ABC). Dr. Dey participated and presented his research papers in a good number of national and international level seminar and workshops. In the administrative domain, he has acted as the Head of the department of Zoology from 2010 to 2013, Co-ordinator in PG course in Zoology, Serampore College from 2014-2016, and presently acting as Chairperson (PGEC) till date.
