Yongzhu Fu is a Professor of College of Chemistry at Zhengzhou University in China. Before joining Zhengzhou University in 2017, he was an Assistant Professor at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) (2014-2017), Research Associate at the University of Texas at Austin (UT-Austin) (2011-2013), and a Research Scientist at Lynntech, Inc. (2008-2011) after he received Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from UT-Austin in 2007 and completed postdoctoral training at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in 2008. Dr. Fu?s current research efforts focus on the development of organosulfur cathode materials and functional applications of these materials. He has published over 120 peer-reviewed journal papers in scientific journals, such as Acc. Chem. Res., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem., Adv. Mater., Nat. Commun., which have been cited over 8800 times. He holds 1 U.S. patent on proton-conducting membranes and 3 pending U.S. patents on Li-S batteries.
