Dr Shiv Narayan is a Senior Scientist in the Centre for Electromagnetics (CEM), CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories (CSIR-NAL), Bangalore, India and an Assistant Professor in the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR), New Delhi. After completing his PhD in Electronics Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology-BHU, where his work specialized on antenna technology, he has worked with the Society for Applied Microwave Electronics Engineering and Research (SAMEER) before joining CSIR- NAL His research interests include computational electromagnetics for aerospace applications, frequency selective surfaces (FSS), RAS, metamaterials, microstrip antennas and phased array antenna and electromagnetic material characterization. He has authored more than 70 journal articles, conference papers, book chapters and technical reports and has authored 2 books. Arun Kesavan is a Research Scholar in the Centre Energie Materiaux Telecommunications, Institut national de la Recherche Scientifique (INRS), Canada, where his research focuses on the development of millimeter-wave reconfigurable antennas based on active frequency selective surface structures for wireless communication systems.
