Dr. Jón Eiri?ksson is Research Professor Emeritus at the Institute of Earth Sciences, University of Iceland. The focus of his research has been the paleooceanography of the Seas north of Iceland, sedimentology and lithostratigraphy, and the geology of Iceland.
