Jianbo Wang is full professor at Peking University. He received his Ph.D. from Hokkaido University (under the supervision of Prof. Hiroshi Suginome) in 1990. He was postdoctoral associate at the University of Geneva from 1990 to 1993 with Prof. Charles W. Jefford, and at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1993 to 1995 with Prof. Howard E. Zimmerman.Prof. Wang's research interests is focused on catalytic metal carbene transformations. He has published over 300 articles in peer-reviewed journals, including >50 papers published in Nat. Chem., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Chem. Rev., and Acc. Chem. Res. These papers have been cited >11000 times. He serves as associate editor of the Journal of Physical Organic Chemistry (Wiley) and Chinese Journal of Organic Chemistry. He is on the editorial advisory board of Organic Letters and Tetrahedron/Tetrahedron Letters.
