Dr. Fuqiang Chu received his B.E. degrees in Thermal and Power Engineering from University of Science and Technology Beijing in 2013, and the Ph.D. degree in Power Engineering and Engineering Thermophysics from Tsinghua University in 2018. After two years of postdoctoral experience in Beihang University, Dr. Chu was hired as an Associate Professor in School of Energy and Environmental Engineering, University of Science and Technology Beijing, since June 2020. Dr. Chu focuses on the research of phase change phenomena and surface & interface science. His recent research interests include: condensation, icing/frosting, anti-icing/frosting, and droplet dynamics. Since 2016, Dr. Chu has published more than 20 peer-reviewed scientific papers in prestigious journals such as ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, Applied Physics Letters, Langmuir, and International Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer. He also served as a reviewer of several international journals.
