April Hiscox is an associate professor of geography at the University of South Carolina. She has been working in boundary layer meteorology, remote sensing and air pollution for 15 years. Her research specialization is in stable boundary layers, with a particular focus on forest and agricultural applications. Her work is at the forefront of new measurement techniques, particularly in the realm of deriving quantitative information from lidar measurements.
