Dr. med. Andreas Meiser is working as a consultant anesthesiologist on the interdisciplinary operative ICU of the Saarland University Medical Center. He has been a pioneer in the field of inhalation ICU sedation. He has been treating patients using the AnaConDa administration devices since 2004, and has published many original articles in scientific journals on the subject.
The basic principle of anesthetic reflection.- The AnaConDa, the Mirus, and the AnaConDa-S.- Inhaled sedation in ARDS.- Inhaled sedation and mortality.
"The book is primarily for physicians and other staff members working in the intensive care setting, but will also be useful for other physicians, who visit the intensive care department to see patients and for anesthesiologists, who work closely together with intensive care therapists. As far as I know, this is the only book available that focuses solely on this topic ... . it is well written and deals with the topic in a clear and straightforward way."
