Christine Oleschkewitz has a commercial background and gained her technical and legal expertise during the past 25 years in the cosmetic industry. In 2000, she joined schülke and made her career in different functions in Marketing Department in the field of cosmetic preservation. In 2017, she took over the management of the new division Regulatory Marketing and is involved in various working groups of several European associations.

Wolfgang Siegert started his career with Schülke & Mayr GmbH as a Chemical Engineer in Germany in 1974. In 2015 he passed away following a long illness. In his 40-year engagement with schülke, he headed the Application Department of the business unit Special Additives International (SAI). Wolfgang Siegert was a recognised lecturer throughout the world and his technical expertise and outstanding personality is equally missed by his colleagues, global business partners and various international organisations in the chemical industry. In 2014, he published the first version of this review of approved preservatives for cosmetic products.
