Embracing the Other

This book is concerned about perspectives on science and scienceeducation raised by the need and increased awareness for more diverse and inclusive educational approaches in the natural sciences. Sharing and creating common practices, elaborating ontheoretical positions and establishing inclusive and diverse research methodologies are among the issues and challenges that need to be addressed. The collection of papers presented in this volume resembles perspectives from science education research, higher education, science fundamental research, and school practitioners.
