An excellent overview about modern heterogeneous photocatalysis is given in this reference: Accompanied by chemical and physical fundamentals, it presents the latest research in energy conversion and environmental depollution reactions.

Jennifer Strunk recently became Professor at the Leibniz Institute for Catalysis in Rostock, Germany, to lead the new Department of Heterogeneous Photocatalysis. In 2017, she has received the prestigious "Dozentenpreis" of the German Fond der Chemischen Industrie, and in 2014, she had received the "Jochen Block Preis" of the German Catalysis Society for the excellent photocatalysis research of her junior research group. She has published roughly 50 journal papers.
