Dr John Lowry is an experienced professional engineer, lecturer and author who has also provided consultancy and training to many national companies and overseas organizations including the United Nations. His career has spanned over 40 years in industry and academia. He holds an honours degree from Imperial College, London University, a Master of Science degree from Surrey University and a Doctor of Philosophy degree from Queen Mary College, London University. Dr. Lowry's current research focuses on his interest in fossil fuel free energy sources and forms of transport which do not emit carbon dioxide. He believes that scientific and technical predictions indicate fossil free energy will be economic by 2025 and that electric transport will become widespread. Dr. Lowry believes that if we act now these will be well established by 2050 and this will cut carbon dioxide emissions, with its associated global warming and pollution in general.
