He is Director of the Center for Tissue Engineering, PUMC and Chief Scientist of the National Basic Research Program of China ('973 Program'). He also serves as Regional Editor of Stem Cells and Development.

He is Director of the Center for Tissue Engineering, PUMC and Chief Scientist of the National Basic Research Program of China ('973 Program'). He also serves as Regional Editor of Stem Cells and Development.
