High Accuracy Measurements of Standard Reflection Materials and Goniochromatic Effect Pigments

In this thesis a new facility named 3D Appearance Robot-based Gonioreflectometer (ARGon3) for measurements of the spectral factor and bidirectional reflectance-distribution function is built up and described. The ARGon3 enables high precision goniometric measurements of diffuse reflecting materials within the whole hemispheric range above the surface of the sample. The wavelength range of the facility is 350 nm to 1100 nm.
