Advances in Polymer Science enjoys a longstanding tradition and good reputation in its community. Each volume is dedicated to a current topic, and each review critically surveys one aspect of that topic, to place it within the context of the volume. The volumes typically summarize the significant developments of the last 5 to 10 years and discuss them critically, presenting selected examples, explaining and illustrating the important principles, and bringing together many important references of primary literature. On that basis, future research directions in the area can be discussed. Advances in Polymer Science volumes thus are important references for every polymer scientist, as well as for other scientists interested in polymer science - as an introduction to a neighboring field, or as a compilation of detailed information for the specialist.

Dr. Susheel Kalia is Associate Professor in the School of Chemistry, Shoolini University, Solan (H.P.) India. After completing his Ph.D. at Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar, India, he began working as Assistant Professor in Singhania University, (Rajasthan) and Bahra University (Shimla Hills) where he has been for the past five years. . Kalia has around 40 research papers in international journals along with 80 publications in proceedings of national and international conferences and seven book chapters. Kalia s other editorial activities include work as a reviewer and memberships of editorial boards for various international journals. Additionally, he has edited a number of books. He is also a member of a number of professional organizations, including the Asian Polymer Association, Indian Cryogenics Council, the Society for Polymer Science, Indian Society of Analytical Scientists, and the International Association of Advanced Materials.
