Mastering the essential facts, concepts, and terminology of chemistry is important to success in the life sciences. Without this foundation, many students enrolled in biology, anatomy and physiology, zoology, nutrition, or environmental science courses do not have the knowledge they will need to understand the chemical processes that underlie critical biological functions. Using a time-tested, programmed approach, An Introduction to Chemistry for Biology Students , Seventh Edition is a unique workbook that takes students step-by-step through the chemistry necessary for success in life sciences courses.
