Hazard City is a collection of eleven online problem-solving assignments that demonstrate the work of practicing geologists and environmental professionals.  Specifically, the activities allow the student to step into the role of a practicing geologist to analyze potential disasters in the fictional town of Hazard City.  Students learn to research and explore on their own in areas such as Map Reading, Ground Water Contamination, Volcanic Hazard Assessment, Earthquake Damage Assessment, Shoreline Property Assessment, and much more. All the activities have built in hints and wrong answer responses.
