Thursday, July 20, 1989 (Snyder): Vehicle caravan proceeds through geology stops in Archean metasedimentary rocks with unusually well-preserved primary structures in Hartville uplift to Bunkhouse Motel, Guernsey, Wyoming (307-836 2356). Cultural opportunity to visit traces of Oregon Trail stage coach route by which migrating settlers populated western U.S. in late 19th century.
