From the book reviews:

"This is a comprehensive book about the etiology, pathogenesis, treatment, and complications of the sensory physiology in the nervous system. ... There is no doubt in my mind that this will be an outstanding reference book for years to come. I suggest it to doctors, researchers, students, fellows, physiologists, and anyone with an interest in pain research." (Joseph J. Grenier, Amazon.com, August, 2014)
