This CD-ROM demonstrates the muscles used in each phase of gait and depicts the forces incurred during gait. In addition to providing the study of gait from the two major classification systems, the CD-ROM also has a variety of other features that make it a user-friendly classroom tool for the study of normal human gait. The program aims to offer the user the flexibility to be able to brush up on very specific areas where he or she may feel weak in the study of human gait. The user is given the ability to select a specific phase of the gait cycle, as well as to pick a particular joint and a particular perspective from which to study the gait cycle. For example, the user may select a specific subphase of the gait cycle, and a specific joint to study during that subphase, and they may study it from the perspective of muscle activity only, kinetic and kinematic data only, or an integrated approach of muscle activity, kinetic and kinematic data. A quiz feature provides immediate feedback on the principles just learned. System requirements for the Pentium-based PC include: Windows 3.1, Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0
