31st International Conference on Solution Chemistry

The large number of contributions based on theoretical and computational approaches is
certainly not just a consequence of the conference organisation by a theoretical group working
for several decades in the field of solution chemistry, but signifies a continuous trend towards an
increasing role of theoretical chemistry as an equivalent partner of experimental research, in
particular with respect to liquid systems, and thus to a rapidly developing and rewarding
co-operation between experimental and theoretical groups.
