Melanie Duffy, MSN, RN, CCRN, CCNS, is a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Critical Care at Pinnacle Health System, Harrisburg, PA and Adjunct Faculty at Widener University, Chester, PA. She is President-Elect and Board Member of NACNS. She is a member of other professional organizations including the Am Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN) and Sigma Theta Tau. Her professional influence has been in promoting the role, practice and leadership aspects of the Clinical Nurse Specialist. She has been an active Presenter at national, state and local meetings and has provided testimony to the PA Professional Licensure Committee ( 2004 - 2008) on Title Recognition for the CNS. She is ACLS, CCRN and CCNS certified.
