Kanegaye, MD, FAAP, FACEP, is an emergency medicine physician at Rady Children's Hospital and a clinical professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of California San Diego School of Medicine. Loren G. Yamamoto, MD, MPH, MBA, FAAP, FACEP, is a professor of pediatrics at the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine, as well as chief of staff and attending emergency physician at Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children. He is chair of the AAP/ACEP APLS steering committee and editor of the 5th edition of APLS: The Pediatric Emergency Medicine Resource.
