This full colour, new book is the first to take account of the new ophthalmic training structure and syllabus, as defined by the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (RCOphth). As a theoretical and practical aid for trainee ophthalmologists and foundation year doctors it guides and helps them progress through the initial years of the new postgraduate Ophthalmic Specialist Training. Emphasis is placed on the practical assessment and management of a variety of key ophthalmic conditions, and includes case based discussions to help develop clinical decision making skills. It will also appeal to candidates preparing for the Fellowship of the Royal College of Ophthalmology (FRCOphth) examination. All topics within the book are presented in highly illustrated, full colour double-page spreads.
