Communication partners practice engaging in conversation with peers and adults by addressing statements or asking and answering questions that are typically discussed in a variety of social settings. The use of these cards will help build valuable social interaction skills.

Lesley is a Speech and Language Pathologist with a career spanning over twelve years in the public school, charter and private settings. Lesley participates in special education transdisciplinary diagnostic and treatment teams, serves as a clinician supervisor, lectures and writes on topics such as social skills, accommodations and modifications in the mainstream setting at the school district, special education local planning area, state, regional and university levels. She published an article on language development using multisensory based therapy in 1999/2000. Her BA degree was completed at the University of Southern California in Communication and her MA degree was completed at California State University, Fullerton in Communicative Disorders. She is presently a candidate for a PhD in Special Education at Claremont Graduate University in Southern California.
