MR Angiography with Vasovist®

Vasovist^® is the first gadolinium-based, intravascular contrast agent for Magnetic Resonance (MR) angiography to have been approved in the European Union for the imaging of vessels in the abdominal region or extremities of patients with suspected or known vascular disease. Vasovist^® reversibly binds to human serum albumin and thus brings about an extended intravascular signal enhancement compared to conventional extracellular MR contrast agents.



The book provides a compact, current overview of this new and multifaceted MR contrast agent. Following introductory chapters on technology, the majority of the book is dedicated to clinical fields of application for MR angiography with Vasovist^®.
