Six aspects of the laryngeal mechanism have been explored, spanning the cellular structure of the vocal folds to higher level motor and sensory organization for vocalization. Dr Titze has succeeded in formulating chapters that present state-of-the-art information broadening the theroetical base of laryngeal science from which future studies will emerge.
