The Visible Human

This CD-ROM allows the user to view the male human body from any of three orientations. Views can be animated, to provide previously unattainable insights into three-dimensional relationships among anatomical elements. Digital colour photographs, along with magnetic resonance and registered computed tomography images give new perspectives into the structure and function of the body. As well as the skeleton, the blood supply and nervous system can be viewed separately or together. Single or sets of images can be exported in a number of standard graphics formats for printing or incorporation into documents.
