This CD-ROM contains computer generated images following the minute sectioning, and photography of, a (female) cadaver. Images can be rotated through any axis, scaled, annotated, saved to file and printed. The disc should be a useful anatomical research and educational tool, and will provide insight into the anatomical relationships between various parts of the human body. Working in conjunction with the US National Library of Medicine, Research Systems, Inc. of Boulder, Colorado, USA, acquired over 5500 axial photographs of a female cadaver, and have computed the sagittal and coronal cross-sections. These are published by Floating Point Systems Ltd, in conjunction with Oxford University Press.
