Dr. Arvind K. Singh Chandel is a researcher and educator specializing in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Polymer Chemistry, and Tissue Engineering. He completed his B. Pharmacy at Barkatullah University, Bhopal, in 2011 and his M.S. Pharm. at NIPER, Hajipur, in 2013. He earned his PhD in Biological Sciences from AcSIR-CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar, in 2018. Dr. Chandel received the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) postdoctoral fellowship and conducted research at the University of Tokyo. His work focuses on the design of polymeric materials for biomedical applications, advanced drug delivery systems, and water desalination. Currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Tokyo, Dr. Chandel has published 35 peer-reviewed papers, holds eight patents, and has contributed to 20 book chapters. He has received awards like the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Postdoctoral Fellowship and the M.K. Bhan Young Researcher Fellowship. His research is known for its interdisciplinary approach, advancing innovation in healthcare. Arpana Parihar is currently working as a research associate at the Department of Translational Medicine, All India Institute of Medical Sciences Bhopal, MP, India. She did her Ph.D. at the Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology, Indore, under the aegis of HBNI, Mumbai. Her doctoral research involves the evaluation of the tumor selectivity and photodynamic therapy (PDT) efficacy of chlorin p6 through receptor‑mediated targeted drug delivery. She has more than 9 years of research and teaching experience at prestigious institutes including BARC, RRCAT, IITD, CSIR-AMPRI, etc. She has been awarded many prestigious fellowships including DST-WOS-B, DBT-RA, CSIR-NET, GATE, etc. Her current research interests include 3D bioprinting, micro/nano fabrications of biosensors for early diagnosis of diseases, infectious diseases, stem cell biology, tissue engineering, photodynamic therapy of cancer, receptor‑mediated targeting of tumors, 3D cell culture, expression of receptors and cytokines, molecular docking, molecular dynamic simulations, and immunoinformatics. She has published ~50 articles, 30 Book chapters, and edited 11 books with renowned publisher. Dr. Raju Khan, currently works as a Senior Principal Scientist and Professor at CSIR—Advanced Materials Processes and Research Institute, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India. He earned an MSc Chemistry and PhD Chemistry from Jamia Millia Islamia, Central University, New Delhi, India. He has worked as a Postdoctorate at the University of the Western Cape, Cape Town, South Africa, Young Scientist at CSIR—National Physical Laboratory, New Delhi, India, and Visiting Scientist at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), USA. He has been awarded Fellow of Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC) and also a reputed BOYSCAST Fellowship, Government of India. His achievements include Scientific Advisor for FSSAI, Government of India, a Life Member of the Materials Research Society of India, and Member of the International Advisory Committee, DST, Government of India. His work has also been highlighted in Nature India. He has published more than 180 articles with a high citation score of more than 5000 in several renowned journals including 45 book chapters by esteemed publishers, editing 25 books with various reputed publishers and several patents filed. He has completed several projects and also have ongoing projects, including national and international scientific collaborations with the USA, Czech Republic and Russia.
