Breast ultrasound is a new diagnosis method whose importance is increasing. The indications cover palpable breast masses, mammographically indeterminate lesions, post-operative follow-up, ultrasound-guided invasive procedures and the analysis of axillary, supra-clavicular and intra-clavicular lymph nodes.
