CORRECTIVE NOTICE

AUGUST 16, 2006

This notice concerns copies of our book,Prentice Hall Nurse’s Drug Guide 2007 (ISBN 0132223368 or 0132433486), that we shipped prior to June 20, 2006.  The original back cover of the book contains incorrect information regarding the contents ofPrentice Hall Nurse’s Drug Guide 2007 in comparison to the contents ofMosby’s Nursing Drug Reference 2007 andDavis’s Drug Guide for Nurses, Ninth Edition.  Contrary to the statements made in the comparative grid that appears on the original back cover, both Mosby’s and Davis’s books contain an electronic drug calculator on the accompanying CD-ROM, information about IV preparation and administration, and coverage of all three types of drug interactions.

We previously added a sticker to the back cover of the book, and issued a formal recall of the unstickered version of the book (these would be books shipped prior to June 20, 2006).  If we shipped any copies of the book to you before June 20, 2006, and your copies are not stickered, we now renew our request that you either return all unstickered copies of this book to us or affix the stickers that we sent over the chart on the back cover.  You may contact our Customer Service Department (at 1-800-922-0579) to obtain a call tag to return the books at our cost, or additional stickers, or if you have any other questions.  Also, replacement copies are available for immediate shipment — please reorder them if you wish to have us send replacement copies to you.  These replacement copies differ from the original only by the addition of the sticker on the back cover.  We will pay the costs of shipping the replacement copies to you.

We regret that this situation occurred, and we apologize for any inconvenience.
