The third in a series of Mental Health CDs, this multimedia CD-ROM presents four interactive case studies on common affective disorders: dysthymic disorder; bipolar disorder in the acutely manic phase; major depressive disorder; and the client who is acutely suicidal. The case studies guide users stepwise through a realistic clinical treatment event and demonstrate the comprehensive nursing process--etiology, current symptoms and DSM-IV-TR diagnostic criteria, assessment, care planning, interventions, and evaluation of client progress.
