This expanded and updated second edition contains fully captioned colour slides illustrating hypertension diagnosis using MRI, CT and Doppler imaging, as well as angiograms and histology. The slides show the effects of hypertension on the brain, eye, heart and kidneys, and in diabetes mellitus. They also illustrate the very latest methods of blood pressure measurement using ambulatory recordings, digital subtraction angiography, MRI and three-dimensional spiral CT angiography. In addition, the slides include cases of renovascular and renal hypertension, primary aldosteronism along with other forms of mineralocorticoid hypertension and Cushing's syndrome, and pheochromocytoma.
