Orthopaedic Innovations in Developing Countries

Dr Masood Umer is Professor in the Department of Surgery, Aga Khan University, Karachi. He is a Consultant Surgeon and Head of the Orthopaedic Section. He graduated from the same institution in 1991. He was Chair of the 34th International Pak Orthocon 2020 Conference, organising under the Pakistan Orthopaedic Association (POA). He was also Chair of the Organising Committee of the 2nd and 3rd Aga Khan University Annual Surgical Conferences. He was President of ASAMI-Pakistan and organized the 1st International Conference of ASAMI-Pakistan in collaboration with ASAMI-Egypt in 2017. Dr Haroon Ur Rashid is Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery, Aga Khan University, Karachi. He is a Consultant Surgeon and Head of the Surgical Education Committee of Postgraduate Programs. He graduated from Quid-e-Azam Medical College Bahawalpur in 1987. He was Chair of the Scientific Committee of the 34th International Pak Orthocon 2020 Conference, organizing under the Pakistan Orthopaedic Association (POA). He was also Chair of the Scientific Committee of the 2nd ASAMI Pakistan Conference and 14th Annual Conference of PSSH. He was also President of ASAMI-Pakistan and organized the 2nd ASAMI-Pakistan Conference in 2019.
