Dr. Argalious serves as Professor and Chair of the Division of Multispecialty Anesthesiology and Vice Chair for Education in the Anesthesiology Department at the Cleveland Clinic.
He completed his anesthesiology residency and cardiothoracic anesthesiology fellowship training at the Cleveland Clinic, and then he joined the Cleveland Clinic as staff anesthesiologist in 2003 with a specialty focus on anesthesia for vascular, liver and multi-visceral transplant. He earned his Executive Masters in Business Administration from Monte Ahuja College of Business in 2009 and his Master's degree in Education with a focus on Adult Learning and in 2014. He also holds a faculty appointment as Professor of Anesthesiology at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University. He served as residency program director for the core anesthesiology residency program from 2013 to 2019.
Dr. Argalious has published more than seventy peer reviewed publications and authored twenty four book chapter in his subspecialty areas of interest including vascular and liver transplant anesthesia, perioperative echocardiography, perioperative medicine, and education research. He serves as reviewer for multiple anesthesiology journals and is an editor of several anesthesiology textbooks. He is a fellow of the American Society of Echocardiography (FASE) and a fellow of the American Society of Anesthesiologists (FASA). He serves on several national committees, including the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) subcommittee for Clinical Circulation, the ASA committee on residents and medical students, and the ASA education subcommittee on Fundamental of Anesthesiology. Currently, he chairs the Ohio Society of Anesthesiologists committee on residents and medical students. He also serves as an Advanced Peer Coach.
Dr. Ehab Farag MD FRCA is Professor of Anesthesiology at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine and Director of Clinical Research in the Department of General Anesthesia, Anesthesia Institute, at the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Farag trained in the UK where he received the Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists. Dr. Farag completed his training in anesthesia at the Cleveland Clinic and received his fellowship training in Neuroanesthesia in Toronto Western Hospital - Toronto University and Cleveland Clinic.
Dr. Farag has more than 130 publications, he is the editor and author of nine textbooks, in addition to several book chapters.
Dr. Deepak Sharma MBBS, MD, DM, is a Professor of Neuroanesthesiology & Perioperative Neurosciences and the Vice-chair for Faculty Affairs & Development in the Department of Anesthesiology & Pain Medicine at the University of Washington, Seattle, WA. He holds the Endowed Chair in Medical Education and Research in Anesthesiology & Pain Medicine.
Dr. Sharma is also a Professor of Neurological Surgery and the Education Director of the Transcranial Doppler Laboratory at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, WA. He is a past-president of the Society for Neuroscience in Anesthesiology & Critical Care (SNACC) and has 90 peer reviewed publications and 25 book chapters. His academic interests include traumatic brain injury, stroke, and transcranial doppler ultrasonography.
