Colorectal surgery has been evolving rapidly over recent years and the COVID pandemic has necessitated a critical approach to all aspects of care.

This book offers an up-to-date appraisal of the increasingly used neoadjuvant therapy. In many situations a multidisciplinary approach is taken to achieve high quality and successful outcomes. In addition, topics such as the management of the open abdomen, complex abdominal wall reconstruction, artificial intelligence and modern management of inflammatory bowel disease are covered.

Written by experts in their field, this book is of interest to both trainees and practicing surgeons in coloproctology.
