The 5th edition of the urology volume in the Rob and Smith's Operative Surgery series provides an up-to-date and comprehensive account of the whole field of adult and paediatric urological surgery, including both open and endoscopic procedures, and is intended for both surgeons in training and those in established pracitce. Under the guidance of a new editor the text has been rewritten by an international list of authors. A separately bound endoscopic section containing more than 80 colour photographs integrated into the text describes minimally invasive procedures which have become standard practice in modern urological surgery. The range of procedures in urological surgery is now so great that no individual can expect to be familiar with all the operations which he/she may be called on to perform. This book provides a guide to the whole range of urological procedures.
