Review of Airway Diseases

Pulmonary disease can be classified into diseases of tissues (parenehyma) and diseases of the air passages themselves. This work focuses on the latter, presenting a unified view of the airways and their various diseases. A thorough review of basic sciences - normal and disordered physiology, cell biology, genetics, immunology, pathology - constitutes the first part of the book. There follows coverage of asthma, COPD, bronchiectasis, KCF, immune and allergy disorders, malignancies, and systemic diseases affecting airways.
