The voices of supervisors and supervisees from a wide range of backgrounds are brought together to create a comprehensive overview of the application of music therapy supervision. From cultural awareness in international placements to the use of technology in recent years, the book follows the theory and practice of music therapy supervision at every career stage.
Catherine Warner is programme leader of the MA Music Therapy at the University of the West of England. She runs a training course in music therapy supervision; the only training in the UK dedicated to these practices. Her clinical practice spans a range of client experiences. Ann Sloboda is Head of Music Therapy at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. She is a qualified psychoanalyst and a member of the British Psychoanalytical Society and is registered with the BCP and the HCPC.
